The conclusion of the project “Increasing Awareness of Hybrid Threats: Strengthening Resilience in the Western Balkans” was marked today by an impressive presentation. This platform served as a stage for the presentation of policies that materialized as a result of the training.
Part of this significant undertaking was our Communications Coordinator, Vasilija Velfel.
In an era dominated by the Internet and artificial intelligence, where concepts are often unclear, the urgent need for initiatives in the field of education and literacy in the realms of media and cyberspace has been emphasized. After the successful first phase of the project held in Ohrid, it was decided to continue the project through quarterly symposiums in each of the participating countries.
The project resulted in five policy papers addressing key challenges in the Western Balkans:
- Unregistered Media as a Tool for Spreading Disinformation in the Western Balkans: A Case Study on Non-Enlargement
- Regional Cooperation in Tackling the Spread of Disinformation in the Western Balkans
- Electoral Disinformation in the Western Balkans
- Media Literacy in Education – A Western Balkans Perspective
- Truth in the Age of Disinformation: Investing in Fact-Checking Organizations in the Western Balkans
We are proud of the significant contribution of Women4Cyber Montenegro to this important endeavor.
