Women4Cyber Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina Delegation Meeting Held with the Support of the OSCE Mission

Podgorica, February 21, 2025 – Women4Cyber Montenegro held a meeting with representatives of institutions and cybersecurity experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of the OSCE Mission to BiH. The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration in the field of cybersecurity, the empowerment of women in the digital sector, and the strengthening of regional cooperation.

During the meeting, Women4Cyber Montenegro presented its work, including projects focused on education, mentorship, and raising awareness about cybersecurity. Discussions covered challenges in transitioning to cybersecurity careers, particularly for women, as well as potential joint initiatives that could contribute to the development of this field in the region.

Women4Cyber Montenegro was introduced to the situation in BiH and the importance of the informal Neretva Group for Cybersecurity, which brings together key practitioners and IT/cyber experts from state and entity institutions, the private sector, academia, and critical infrastructure. This initiative, operating under the auspices of the OSCE Mission to BiH, highlights the importance of a multi-sectoral approach in strengthening cyber resilience.

The meeting marked an important step towards enhancing cooperation between institutions and organizations in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of international partners, to build a safer and more inclusive digital environment.
